HISTORY
In 2015 a number of faculty members from different disciplines and centres of innovation, as well as community partners, met to discuss the formation of an initiative to support creativity and innovation. From these discussions, the Atlantic Centre for Creativity was established.
Major Events
The Year of Creativity ran for 2015/2016 and included 26 different events, which took place across the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton campus and also throughout the community.

November 16th to 17th. Hosted by the School of Education and the Atlantic Centre for Creativity, this Symposium brought together individuals across disciplines and sectors.
October 2019
2nd Creative Connections Conference at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton
October 24th to 26th. The central goal of the Atlantic Centre for Creativity and the Creative Connections Conference is to increase awareness and enhance creative practices across disciplines including: sciences, the arts, business, entrepreneurship, and education. The 2019 conference was an interdisciplinary, interactive, and collaborative conference designed to encourage participants to ‘think outside the box’, take risks, share new ideas, and enhance teaching practices.
Students, staff, faculty, administrators, government officials, and the public were welcome to attend.
